We are pleased to announce that IDS is now an NDIS Registered Provider. This recognition marks a significant step forward in our ability to support individuals with disabilities across the Wollongong, Nowra and Southern Highlands regions.
What does being a registered provider mean for our clients
Being a registered provider allows us to offer a wider range of disability support services, ensuring that individuals receive high-quality care tailored to their needs. Our registration covers the following NDIS support categories:
Assist-Personal Activities (0107) – Helping with daily self-care tasks.
Assist-Travel/Transport (0108) – Supporting travel to essential services and community activities.
Daily Tasks/Shared Living (0115 - SIL) – Assisting with everyday activities in shared living arrangements.
Innovative Community Participation (0116) – Encouraging meaningful social and community engagement.
Development of Life Skills (0117) – Teaching essential skills for independent living.
Household Tasks (0120) – Providing assistance with domestic activities.
Social and Community Participation (0125) – Supporting involvement in social and recreational activities.
Group/Centre-Based Activities (0136) – Delivering structured programs in group settings.
Implementing Behaviour Support Plans (Module 2A) – Managing positive behaviour strategies, including regulated restrictive practices.

How does being a registered provider expand our services
With our NDIS registration, we can provide our regular services as well as:
Operate Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation – Providing safe, supportive group homes.
Establish centre-based activities – Offering structured day programs focused on social and skill-building activities.
Implement behaviour support plans – Ensuring participants receive personalised, evidence-based strategies to improve quality of life.
What to expect moving forward
Over the next year, IDS will expand our disability support services while continuing to provide the high level of care our clients expect. While we work on these new initiatives, our existing services will remain unchanged.
Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every participant receives individualised care that promotes independence, inclusion, and overall well-being. This milestone strengthens our ability to create opportunities for people living with disabilities to achieve their personal goals.
We look forward to working closely with our community and supporting more individuals on their journey toward greater independence. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our NDIS services, please reach out to our team.
